On Fri 29th May Sam, Angela and Emma …. AKA team Climb Every Mountain ! will set off from Llanberis to conquer the mighty Snowdon; a mere 9 miles and 6 ish ( depending how often Sam has to stop ! ) hrs of climbing and walking.
As parents, professionals and a little sister, ASD is something very close to the teams hearts and Snowdon itself has significance for all.
This will be both physically and emotionally challenging, not least because it represents the mountains our families climb everyday.
Please show your support for the team and the families of Empathy by donating to Team Climb Every Mountain
We are one of the lucky organisations to be chosen for the Shropshire Star’s “Cash For Communities” Scheme this year. Everyday until the 19th May a token will be printed in the Shropshire Star. Congratulations to everyone involved in Empathy’s Variety Night on 20 March 2015 in Oswestry. Howard and Gaenor Smith entertained us with some wonderful singing and the Empathy children impressed us too with their amazing talents and confidence. Over £1400 was raised on the night to support Empathy’s work – a brilliant achievement.
The following clip shows the evening finale; Empathy children performing Gary Barlow’s “Sing”.
Friday 20th March 7:30 PM at the The Venue, Park Hall, Oswestry, SY11 4AS.
Our very own stars of the West End, present an evening of variety and music for your entertainment and enjoyment, with a special guest appearance from some of the children from Empathy for special children.
All proceeds from this very special evening will go directly to support the work of Empathy; working at a local level to directly improve the lives of children, young people and their families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders and associated additional needs.
Many thanks to our anonymous donor who has once again made a generous donation to Empathy.
We hope you can see this “Thank You” on behalf all of the children and families that your money will make a huge difference too.
